Yoga for Stress

The focus of a Yoga for Stress class is a mix of mindful movement, yoga postures, breathwork, and specific mindfulness meditation techniques to help activate relaxation and healing, and build strength and resilience.

Formal mindfulness practices provide the opportunity to learn how to move out of stressed states into calmer regulated states, and the possibility of cultivating kindness and acceptance of life’s experiences.

Tuesday 8 Dec,  7- 8:30pm – Increase your vital energy!
Working in the appropriate way, our yoga practice has the capacity to increase vitality and energise the body. This class will focus on the fundamental energy (prana vayu) which nourishes the brain and the eyes and governs the reception of all things: food, air, senses, and thoughts. The qualities of this energy help us to be more receptive to our experience and encourage confidence to keep going. When this energy is strong and flowing, deeper qualities of the heart, strength, courage, and greatness are expressed. The class will be a mix of dynamic movement with the breath and focussed breathing practices that will leave you feeling calm but energised.
