The July 7th Sound Bathed Yoga Session will be bringing together the beautiful healing sounds by Tom Schache with a Chair Yoga Session by Tanya Zappala.   

Chair Yoga is not just for students needing support with their balance or great moves for office workers, Chair Yoga is anyone that would like to lean in on steady support and hang for a few moments whilst ripples of sounds vibrate through you.

This class will start with an adapted flow to gently build some strength which your bones will love you for.  Then sit back and let the chair becomes an extension of your body allowing you to take full advantage of yoga’s health potential… happy days.

With the support of the chair means every BODY can experience the integration of body, mind, and spirit. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of your body allowing you to take full advantage of yoga’s health potential. Chair Yoga invites you to find mobility in a way that is soft and gentle leaving you feeling calmer and more relaxed, inevitably leading you into a greater feeling of happiness and well-being.

This session finishes with a 40 min supported savasana to allow the sounds to further deepen the healing process by cutting through mental chatter. Together movement and sound bring you into a meditative state which allows your body to heal and repair itself.
