What to Expect

In six 90-minute sessions, you’ll explore key aspects of yoga, including foundational poses, breathwork, and mindfulness. Each session builds upon the previous one, so if you’re new to yoga, attending the full series will provide you with a solid foundation. However, casual drop-ins are always welcome! Each class offers a balanced blend of structure and flow, ensuring a well-rounded practice in every session.

  • Prana and Apana Vayu: Explore the energetic qualities of breath, embracing grounding and expanding forces to enhance your practice.
  • Sthira & Sukha (Steadiness and Ease): Integrate strength and stability with relaxation and comfort for a balanced approach.
  • Twists: Enhance spinal mobility by working with principles from earlier sessions.
  • Balances: Challenge your stability and confidence with balancing poses that foster physical and mental resilience.
  • Backbends: Delve into backbends with a focus on safety and alignment, opening your heart and deepening your practice.

At Clayfield Yoga Studio, we offer 3x weekly Align and Flow classes to help you continue developing your yoga practice with personalized guidance and alignment cues. These slowed-down sessions allow you to fully explore each posture, building both strength and control while refining your understanding of foundational yoga principles.

Our Align and Flow classes are designed to counteract the effects of modern life—whether it’s long hours of sitting or rushing around unaware of your posture.
