Your teacher:
Amy Boreland
Amy loves teaching Vinyasa and Yin yoga classes, especially her favourite combo: Vin Yin. She designs gentle classes suitable for all ages and abilities, including beginners.
Before each class, Amy checks in with every student, ensuring she’s aware of any injuries or health conditions that might require modifications. She believes yoga is for everyone and aims to make it accessible, never wanting anyone to feel overwhelmed.
Amy creates a welcoming atmosphere for her students, starting with guided breathing to shift from stress to relaxation. She encourages setting intentions for a purposeful practice.
Recognising different learning styles, Amy emphasises clear cues and frequent demonstrations to guide her students effectively.
For Amy, yoga goes beyond physical exercise. She often incorporates themes like yogic philosophy, chakra balancing, or moon energy, emphasising the connection between focus and energy flow.
During Shavasana, Amy uses sound healing with Tibetan singing bowls to promote relaxation and balance energy. After her class, students leave feeling a profound sense of inner peace and gratitude for their bodies.
Spaces will be limited; if you prefer to pay at studio please text Tanya on 0410 601 773 to reserve your spot.
