In this Sound Bathed Restorative Yoga session, you will be guided to Dive Deep Within. Indulge in a candlelit serenity as you embark on a journey through the five Koshas, or layers of existence, that make up the human experience. Each layer holds a unique essence waiting to be discovered and nurtured.

Workshop Highlights

The Koshas are layers or sheaths that are said to encapsulate the human experience, according to yogic philosophy. There are five Koshas, each representing a different aspect of the self. Here is a brief overview of each Kosha:

  1. Annamaya Kosha (Physical Sheath): This is the outermost layer and represents the physical body. It includes the bones, muscles, skin, and organs.
  2. Pranamaya Kosha (Energetic Sheath): This layer represents the energy body or the vital life force within us. It governs the flow of prana (energy) through the body.
  3. Manomaya Kosha (Mental Sheath): This layer represents the mind and emotions. It includes thoughts, feelings, and the subconscious mind.
  4. Vijnanamaya Kosha (Wisdom Sheath): This layer represents intellect and wisdom. It is associated with higher knowledge, intuition, and discernment.
  5. Anandamaya Kosha (Bliss Sheath): This is the innermost layer and represents pure consciousness and bliss. It is the essence of our being and the source of joy and peace.

Understanding and balancing these Koshas through practices like yoga, meditation, and mindfulness can lead to a deeper connection with oneself and a more holistic approach to well-being.
